Hi

I have on my desk this unit :
navigation AISIN from Toyota
p/n 86120-33610
problem is :
customer was replace batery in car ,when after switch ON navigation ,its say :
"Please insert correct map disc"

but when I insert correct disc ,is not accept
pickup laser is light ,but may be wrong ?
CD is turned and in few second stop.

its all
is not possible run radio od CD player because "Please insert correct map disc" is still show on display

can someone help me ?

Hi Jozef,

last one of those units i worked on had similar fault, if the unit doesnt read the map disc and get all software on boot up the unit wont work. I cleaned the laser and this worked, if you need a laser i know it is an alpine deck in the unit but not part number, alpine in the uk wont give me that info or laser

I have ordered new pickup laser (full DVD mechanism) ,I will inform if this solve my problem.
